Freestyle

"Freestyle skiing and snowboarding has massively grown over the last few years in the UK and SKUM are always ahead of the curve.” The “Go Big” attitude has meant we have had successes on dry slope, snow, in the UK and in the Alps. And over the last couple of years top place results at BUDS, BUISC, BUSC and Beach Break's summer competition have meant we have become a force to be reckoned with.

For those who are new to the sport it’s all about progression, and learning! But the principle is to have fun by doing tricks either on jumps, boxes or rails. Anyone can join and get involved! From learning airs and 180's to getting upside down our freestyle captain Kevin Meynard is here to help you learn... We plan to ride every other Wednesday at Chill Factore a indoor ski slope with a freestyle set up, as well as this there will be trampoline sessions and massive airbag sessions at our Sunday Sheffield trips!

For the first time we will be giving prizes to all members who manage to get upside down (and the right way around again!)

Trials will be on Wednesday the 12th of October again at Chill Factore. This is open to everyone so come along to show us your skills and get started in the sport!
